DMac is unscathed after a close call on Friday. Bern and Joe were playing well and dropping in birdies/greenies all day and kept DMac at bay until the final hole. DMac stripped a drive right down the middle and lay only 80 yards from the green while Joe topped his drive and barely made it past the tee box and Bern proceeded to fly his ball way out to the right. The drama doesn’t end there however, Joe managed to slide a long shot up the fairway and then hit a nice shot to the green for about 10 feet left. Bern was lucky and found that his ball had bounced up to a grassy spot with a perfect shot to the green. Bern pulled his wedge a bit and left it over the green and then hit it over the green again so was out of the hole.

DMac hit a beautiful shot and landed just short of the hold with only 8 feet left for his birdie. Joe rolled in a miracle putt and the show was up to DMac. With knees knocking, he managed to clench his teeth and roll a smooth putt right into the heart of the cup to clench the press. Justice!
