Bern missed out on a prime opportunity to climb out of the negative by failing to take advantage of his favorable match up with JMac mana a mano in his home state of Iowa. The boys faced chilly weather (high 40s) and a monster course in The Harvester, the top course in Iowa and a top 50 public course in the US. It is long and treacherous with greens that were lightning quick. JMAC held the early lead but never by more than a couple of skins when Bern came on late to take a one skin lead into 18 where he managed to pee down his leg (again) to allow JMAC to escape the trip unscathed.
