Joe Takes the Lead

Joe Takes the Lead

It was only a matter of time before DMac was dethroned as the tour leader. A familiar face is back on top after a round deemed “The Good the Bad and the Ugly”.

DMac started the day with his newly tuned swing and looked good for the front nine. A birdie on 6 was snaked by Joe hitting a very long chip in the hole from about 30 yards away. After a hard chunk in the ground on #9 DMac winced in pain in his right rib cage and never really recovered by struggling the rest of the round.

Eric was ugly for the first 9 manage to only sniff being in a hole once, however after the turn he was on fire and immediately won 3 holes and started firing at the pin. Joe battled back late in the round and started striking on #15 and never looked back winning every hole including the press.

The picture is of the hold JMAC managed to ace last time out!
